This is why your loss control team, Ruth McBrayer, Eddie Hjort and Marc Kosiek are recognizing and rewarding our top Crest Accounts that are taking action to improve workplace safety by embracing the loss control tools offered to them by Crest.
Our first recipient was G&J Development in September! Jim Gillespie, Marc, and Ruth visited with the G&J Development ownership and management team to recognize their commitment in safety. G&J has fully embraced our services and continue to build their safety culture with Crest’s help.

Crest has built and provided us a value platform that we, as brokers, can provide to our clients. It is very refreshing when the client takes full advantage of those services to better their business. It also distinguishes us from our competition. Our second recipient was Tofel Dent Construction! Dan Dolan, Marc, and Ruth met with the owner and CFO to present their Safety Director, Nick Laughlin with Crest’s Crystal Safety Improvement Plaque. Tofel Dent was recognized for proactively partnering with Crest’s Loss Control and implementing a successful Safety Program within their organization. Creating a culture of safety can be difficult, but Marc and Nick have been working closely for several months now educating and empowering employees to follow best practices, identifying hazards on the job site, and focusing on compliance. To support the culture Tofel Dent has even implemented an incentive program as a reward for employees to follow safe work behaviors.

TofelDent Construction LLC joined the Crest team recently. Their outstanding and continuing development of a fully encompassing safety culture from the top leadership down to the subcontracted labor was recognized and aided in placement among numerous carriers.

Ruth and Eddie presented Crest’s Excellence in Safety award to our 3rd recipient, Sue Rockey, Operations/Safety Manager at Conner Logistics, Inc. We so appreciate partnering with our clients to recognized these individuals and companies for their hard work and dedication to safety.

I don't do this very often because sadly there aren't very many dedicated competent people who take their jobs seriously and do it well. I've been in business for 36 years and over the years managed at one time as many as 250 employees as well as a fleet of 65 trucks and trailers.
