Chester Henderson

Director of Risk Services

Native of Tucson, Arizona, Chester Henderson earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona. Additionally, he was a Baseball Letterman while attending the University of Arizona. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and became a Navy SEAL. While in the Navy, Chester held a multitude of leadership positions while serving within Naval Special Warfare.
Over his 22-year career within the SEAL Teams, he successfully completed six deployments, four of which were combat deployments inside Iraq and Afghanistan. Chester’s operational leadership enabled optimal performance levels in the cross-functional teams he led. His visionary leadership allowed him to see future state opportunities on the battlefield, craft strategy, influence leadership, and align operations to achieve success. He was a trusted operational combat leader who was dependable to launch and lead teams globally under extreme austere conditions.
Additionally, over his 22-year Naval career, Chester was a training professional proficient at curriculum development and training implementation. He evaluated training deficiencies, identified innovative solutions, and led training development initiatives for the Nation’s most elite special operations basic and advanced training pipelines. He led and supervised the execution of Risk Management Teams, which reduced operational training risk, increased training efficiency, established and promoted safety measures, and advanced the performance of the participants.

Biography

Bryan Chance

OSHA Instructor

Bryan Chance started his career as a heavy equipment operator in the United States Navy Seabees, his boots on the ground experience has been invaluable in the teaching and training his construction peers.
Bryan has 40 years of risk management and consulting experience working with clients to transform the way in which they manage risk. He has implemented large scale, diversified risk management programs/processes; and worked with clients to develop new strategies, frameworks, and innovative risk and incident management programs. Prior to joining Crest Insurance Group Bryan worked at Chasse Building Team Coaching one of the fastest growing construction companies in the Country with a leadership process that integrated the lean construction model into a safe production process which yielded some of the lowest e-mods in the construction industry.
While working for Chasse Building Team he trained over 4000 Sub-Contractors Superintendents in Construction Leadership. Bryan Risk Management Career is very diversified, he was theVice President of Risk Management for Air One Transport LLC, where he helped to develop Air Ones nationwide risk management practice. He has also held loss control management positions with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in Denver, Colorado and Kansas City, Missouri, as well as managing the AIG’s loss control office in Phoenix, AZ., Bryan has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Southwestern College, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Safety Management from Ottawa University.
For years he has been a Master Trainer for the National Center for Construction Research and hold the classification of (CSSM) Construction Site Safety Master. Bryan is also an authorized MSHA instructor for surface mines, he has also held the position as Safety Director for Utility Contractors Inc. Managing safety programs in the Oil production and refining processes at Conoco Philips, Frontier and Enbridge.
Bryan believes that every company needs to have a clear understanding of what their goals and objectives are as it pertains to their risk management strategies. Management has to identify, assess and implement the controls they need to promote a healthy accident free culture. Similar to any other part of the business, if mangers do not have the proper risk management tools it often yields high Experience modification factors and diminishes the overall employee safety culture. Bryan has worked his entire career on partnering with clients to help deliver the right tools which will meet the partner’s objective and solidify a long-term relationship with those partners.
